1. Permit application form:
2. The advertisement layout prepared by the Department, showing the signboard's size and projection, as well as the measurements, the materials used, the method of fixing, and the establishment’s address. The layout must carry the stamp of the party executing the advertisement.
3. A clear photograph of the façade of the property on which the signboard shall be fixed (with the exception of printed and aerial advertising).
4. Detailed structural drawings approved by an architectural consultancy office.
(For advertisements fixed on top of building, and some of the advertisements displayed on city reads).
5. A letter confirming the consent of the landlord of the building on which the advertisement shall be fixed.
(Required for some of the projected, additional and revolving advertisements).
6. A letter issued by Dubai Municipality approving the following advertisements:
- Advertisements on top of the buildings (Planning Dept. and Buildings & Housing Dept.).
- Advertisements on city streets, highways and some balloon advertisements (Road Dept.).
7. A letter issued by the Civil Defense Dept. or/ and Civil Aviation Dept. confirming their approval (some balloons and aerial advertisements).
8. A letter confirming approval of the following government authorities in respect of publishing and circulating some advertising brochures:
- Dubai Information Department for publishing and circulating of informational brochures.
- Tourism and Commercial Marketing Department foe publishing and circulating brochures including information on tourist places in the Emirates.
- Dubai Municipality Planning Department for publishing and circulating of brochures including illustrated maps on the Emirates or any of its locations.
